Using it
How to wear the brace
Slide it on, pull the strap tight, and make sure you can still move the ankle normally.

Slide it on like a sock
The brace goes over a sock or directly on skin. Pull it up until the side supports sit flat against the ankle bones and the opening is centred over the front of the ankle.

Wrap the figure-eight strap
Start above the ankle, cross down in front of the joint, loop under the heel, and finish above the ankle on the other side. The strap should feel supportive, not tight.

Check that you can still move
You should be able to point and flex the foot and wiggle the toes. If the brace prevents normal movement, it is too tight or the wrong size.

Take it off to rest
Support during activity, not at rest. Your ankle needs unrestricted circulation when you are still.
